Historic Hotel

This charming literary hotel was initially built around the 1830s as a convent. However, since all religious orders were abolished in Portugal in the beginning of the 19th century, the convent was never really inhabited by any nuns, and was much later turned into a hotel named Estalagem do Convento. Its current owner turned it into the hotel that it is today in 2015, maintaining its old charm and historic atmosphere.
